Scholarship Info
Doug Usseglio Hockey Fund:
Douglas \"Dougie\" Usseglio was a Waltham resident who graduated from Waltham High School in 2011 and from The Winchendon School in 2012. He was a Senior at Franklin Pierce University with plans to graduate in 2016 until his passing on March 6, 2016. Doug was one day shy of his 23rd Birthday but lived every moment of his short life to the fullest. His passion for sports brought him 19 years of hockey and 7 years of Lacrosse. He excelled in both but also could be found playing street hockey, baseball and basketball all over the city. Beyond athletics Dougie was devoted to his sister Julia \"JuJuBee\" Fournier and his friends and family. As much as he loved sports, he hated to run! To honor Dougie, let\'s run for him! Created in his memory, The Douglas Usseglio Memorial Hockey Fund will provide services and scholarships to Hockey programs and participants including but not limited to Waltham Youth Hockey, Waltham High School Hockey, The Winchendon School, The East Coast Jumbos and Franklin Pierce Hockey.
